A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of cost (within a certain limit). We will move your web site(s) to our top–tier cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that changing web hosting providers can result in lost data and undesired network downtime. That’s the reason why we’ll do all that for you at no cost!We have trained administrators whose principal task is to ensure that your web site functions precisely as it did on your former hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in transferring custom–built sites, as well as sites that are based on well–known scripts like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: We strive to implement all web site migrations as quickly as possible. However, we do not have a set time frame for web site migrations. There are several factors that you need to take into consideration – the actual size of your website and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We always try to implement each migration in less than 48 hours. With smaller sites, our team typically manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

A: Yup. We will need to have the name of the site that you want us to migrate. We will also need a means to access your current web hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your website.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your previous hosting provider. Once we have finished the transfer, your website will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is functioning properly, all you will have to do is update the name server resource records associated with your domain. Your web site will be migrated over to us with no downtime.

A: While we migrate your content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yes. We support all traditional Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based web hosting platforms, since we do not provide Windows web hosting solutions ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary site building and management interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
