If you want to register a domain name to make sure that no one else is going to take it, however, you have not created the website for it yet, you could park it. This is a feature that registrar companies offer whenever a domain name isn't connected to any web or e-mail hosting service. By doing this, you can protect a brand name, for example, and you'll own the domain in question although it won't load any content. If you want, you can choose some default template that the registrar provides, like For Sale or Under Construction, you can also direct the domain name to a new web address. The second option is extremely helpful if you own a few domains, but you want all of them to open the same website. As an example, you could register domain.net and domain.org, then park them and direct them to domain.com. In this example, you will need hosting for the third domain name only and the traffic to the other ones will be redirected to it.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domain names as you like with each of the cloud hosting plans we provide. However, this feature is available exclusively for domain addresses registered here since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike many companies, we do not charge anything extra for parking a domain and the process will take just a few clicks in your Hepsia CP. We've got a number of parking templates to select from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account will take simply a click. Everything needed for your website to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domain names that you have registered using us and you’ll be able to set a filter to see just the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you get a semi-dedicated server plan through our company, you'll be able to register and park as many domain names as you wish. In contrast to other providers, we won't charge you an additional fee for this feature. You could park a domain with just two clicks through the Domain Manager tool, which you could access from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. In case you choose to use a template, you're going to have a few different ones available and you will be able to add custom text to any of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager enables you to set filters to check out only the hosted or only the parked domains in your account. Using the same tool, you can also un-park a domain and host it inside your account with a click. Our system will change the name servers of the domain name and will create its folder inside the File Manager section, and the needed DNS records for it, automatically.
